Growing up, my mother was always the party planner for family events from birthdays and weddings to family reunions. She did not have a lot of money to fund extravagant parties but she used her creativity to make each party uniquely perfect. It was always her dream to open her own business in which she joked would be called She-Lease-A-Party, inspired by her first name, Shelisa.
